Your eyes are not deceiving you, there are FIVE pieces in this Itty Bitty Critter collection! Each piece is hand painted directly from my imagination using acrylic paint on reclaimed wood measuring 3.5×5.5”. Let’s go over the pieces included in this collection, shall we?

1. Should a small octopus be hanging out on your mint chocolate chip ice cream cone? No. But he is, so get over it. Maybe he’s from the deep dark bottom of the ocean where it’s super cold and this is where he feels most at home.

2. Does an anole belong on a corn dog? I usually see these lizards hanging out on my house and fence, so maybe I should try offering them corn dogs and find out. It could be their very favorite treat and we don’t even know it.

3. There is definitely a frog in your cheerio’s, which is weird. But add in some cheerio flies and it all makes sense. Obviously he’s using the bowl as a hiding place while he lies in wait for the cheerio flies to land on him. Then SLURP! down the hatch they go.

4. Just FYI, that starfish on a stack of pancakes is just here for the syrup. He’s from Canada.

5. This stack of chocolate chip cookies has been overrun by a gang of ladybugs. They might seem cute and innocent, but try and take their cookies and you’ll find out what they are really made of. They’re the most feared gang in all the insect kingdom.
