This trio could not be any cuter! These lil shellfish paintings are part of my Itty Bitty Critter collection, a super fun and whimsical series I continue to add to as the mood strikes me. The mood on this day may have been hunger…I do love sushi…mmmmm sushi.

Let’s meet our THREE contestants!

First up, Meet Oyster Shooter McGavin, he’s single and ready to mingle! His dating profile says “Texas Pete or Tabasco, either way, I like it hot!” If you like pearls, this mollusk is for you!

Our next contestant is a group of shrimp who plan to start a boy band! Their friends all say they can sing “really good” and they plan to shoot for the stars on American Idol when they come to the Carolinas for tryouts.

And our third group of bachelors is a foursome who found each other through an online group interested in architecture. This is their impression of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, truly an architectural masterpiece and wonder to behold, just like these delicious nigiri!

The shrimp and chopsticks piece is meant to be displayed flat or standing on end, and the other two can either stand or be hung on a wall. I personally love them displayed together on a counter, shelf or windowsill as a happy little group.

The oyster shooter is approximately 3×5”, and the other two are comparable in size.
