Just kidding, it’s the shrimp cocktail! I originally painted him on a ceramic coaster but then I remembered that I have about 40,000 coasters around our house and you probably do too. So I glued a strong magnet to his backside and now you can slap him onto your fridge!

The stack of clams is meant to be displayed as the glorious tower it is, standing upright on a counter/table/shelf/etc. I get very “Walrus and the Carpenter” vibes from this piece, and I may or may not have been watching Alice in Wonderland when I painted it.

As for the 5.5×3.5” pastel sea critter tower, well these guys are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of the ocean! Heroes on a half shell! They can keep you safe while sitting on a flat surface or hanging on a wall from the hook on their backside.
